Winton Global Homes Engineered Wood Division is Northern British Columbia’s leading truss manufacturer and supplier of engineered wood products.

Winton Global Truss is a long time member of the Western Wood Truss Association  (WWTA) and has been recognized by the WWA for our consistent high quality and standards. We design roof and floor trusses for all types of residential, commercial and agricultural applications. All of our roof systems are engineered and built to meet regional snow loads and code requirements and are built with premium lumber that meets Winton Homes Division exacting standards for quality and code requirements.

As a high quality alternative to traditional stick frame floors, we offer a engineered truss floor system.  This system consists of 4X2 floor trusses of varying lengths, depths and spacing (build to site measurements with no additional one site trimming required).  Due to the open web design of these trusses, all services (ducting, plumbing, wiring etc.) can be installed within the floor space. Not only does this give you added height in your basement, the structural integrity of this system eliminates the majority if not all of your internal bearing requirements, i.e. teleposts, beams etc.

We also stock and supply all the components for an engineered I-Joist floor system (Louisiana Pacific). These produce an excellent system for framing floors (and roofs) by featuring beams, joist and rimboard that would, together as a system, provide a strong, reliable and cost effective residential framing solution
